Departure times can be arranged to suit your requirements, the best fishing is usually early morning or late evening

Trips are 4 hours depending on the fishing conditions
WHAT WE CATCH
Most common species is Snapper but other species caught include John Dory, Kahawai, Gurnard and Kingfish generally rated as the best fighting fish pound for pound in the sea
WHAT TO BRING
No matter what the season it always pays to bring a jacket, water and sunscreen, even in winter there can be quite a glare off the water. A good solid chilly bin to take home your catch. Salt flake ice can be purchased at Thames Wholesale and Fish Supply at the Shortland Wharf.

Trips cost $130 NZD per person
(effective from February 2025)
Boat minimum charge of $780 NZD (6 people) with a maximum of 10 people per boat. We do not mix crews.
From Monday, 30 March 2026, a $50 fuel surcharge will apply to this charter. This adjustment is necessary due to ongoing increases in fuel costs. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.
